| Founded in 2007, spantrans provides professional quality translations from Spanish and Catalan into English, with a particular focus on medical and social science documents. Additional services include editing, proofreading, and website localization. In all areas, spantrans strives to preserve the meaning of the original text while expressing it in clear, precise, and natural English, making use of appropriate specialized terminology and suitable tone and style.
Daniel Greuel is the founder and lead translator at spantrans. With an M.A. in Language, Literature, and Translation (Spanish to English Translation concentration) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a B.I.S. in Translation and Interpreting (Health Care specialization), Sociology, and Global Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Daniel knows what it takes to produce translations that are clear, precise, and natural, conveying the meaning of the original text using the appropriate terminology and suitable style. He is a native speaker of U.S. English with experience living abroad in Central America and Catalonia (Spain), and over three years of experience translating medical, social science, and other documents.
